Cuba stepped onto the pedestal in Barranquilla. They nipped Dominican Republic in overtime to claim Bronze medals. Karel Guzman scored 25 points to lead the charge. Cuba accumulated a 38:28 halftime lead. Dominican Republic managed to deny the deficit in the second half and forced overtime. But Cuba outscored their opponents 9:7 in the extra period to celebrate victory. Jasiel Rivero had 19 points for Cuba. Jhonatan Araujo delivered 20 points and 9 rebounds for Dominican Republic.
