Puerto Rico celebrated Gold in Barranquilla. They overcame Colombia in the Final. Gilberto Clavell scored 18 points to lead the winners. Puerto Rico accumulated a 45:29 halftime lead. Colombia narrowed the gap at 13-point mark at the final break. But Puerto Rico unleashed 32 points in the fourth stanza to capture the trophy. Gian Clavell had 16 points for Puerto Rico. Michaell Jackson replied with 18 points and 7 rebounds for Colombia.
