The game had a very big importance for second-ranked JKL Dolphins as it allowed them to take a leadership position. JKL Dolphins smashed 10th ranked UMU Ravens in Kampala 76-41. JKL Dolphins forced 23 UMU Ravens turnovers and outrebounded them 48-31 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. JKL Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by UMU Ravens' players. It was a great evening for international guard Ritah Imanishimwe (165-96) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Evelyn Nakiyinji (-98) helped adding 14 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Four JKL Dolphins players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Anitah Wataka responded with 6 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Brenda Ayere (150-98) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with UCU Ladies. UMU Ravens lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost.
