La Salle Tarija held off CAN Oruro in Game 1. The game was mostly controlled by La Salle Tarija. CAN Oruro was better in second period 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CAN Oruro 44-32 including 31 on the defensive glass.
