Semi-Finals Game 4: CAN Oruro - La Salle Tarija 80-76

CAN Oruro held off La Salle Tarija to seal their Libobasquet Finals appearance. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But La Salle Tarija won third quarter 25-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when CAN Oruro won last quarter 21-19. CAN Oruro outrebounded La Salle Tarija 52-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Howard Crawford (205-88, college: UAB) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds. International Pedro Gutierrez (182-96) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Five CAN Oruro players scored in double figures. Venezuelan guard Michael Flores (192-85) replied with 30 points and 5 rebounds and Venezuelan forward Derwin Ramirez (191-82) added 15 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for La Salle Tarija. La Salle Tarija's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
