Regular Season Round 1: Slask Wroclaw - Polfarmex Kutno 87-77

Another upset was a game between Polfarmex (0-1) and Slask (1-0), which took place in Wroclaw. Polfarmex lost to Slask in a road game 77-87 on Sunday. Slask made 22-of-27 free shots (81.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Polfarmex was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a very good performance for power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 11 rebounds. Point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) contributed with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 assists for the winners. Four Slask players scored in double figures. Power forward Michal Marek (208-96) answered with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and guard Bartosz Majewski (190-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Polfarmex. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Slask will face Pruszkow (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Polfarmex will play against GKS Tychy (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
