Regular Season Round 3: Asker Aliens - Gimle BBK 55-91

The game in Asker supposed to be also worth to mention about. Gimle BBK (4-0) played at the court of Asker Aliens (0-2). Gimle BBK smashed Asker Aliens 91-55. It looked good early as Asker Aliens took a 4-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then Gimle BBK had a 22-8 second period charge getting the lead and Asker Aliens were not able to take back game control losing it eventually 55-91. Gimle BBK dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Asker Aliens' 34. Gimle BBK forced 31 Asker Aliens turnovers. It was a great evening for Serbian-Montenegrin center Milovan Savic (205-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks. Australian-New Zealand guard Tony Tolovae (196-92) helped adding 15 points and 7 rebounds. Four Gimle BBK players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Jorgen Onarheim (201-99) with 10 points and 7 rebounds and guard Ludvig Bergh (177-98) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Asker Aliens' coach Tommy Gundersen gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Gimle BBK will play against Froya Basket (#3) in Laksevag in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Asker Aliens will play at home against Fyllingen BBK and look forward to get finally their first victory.
