Regular Season Round 2: Svitavy - BK Decin 84-69

The most important game of round 2 took place in Svitavy where Basketbal Svitavy beat BK Decin (1-1) 84-69 on Wednesday night. Basketbal Svitavy looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Sean OBrien (198-94, college: S.Illinois) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and naturalized Slovakian point guard Roman Marko (192-86) chipped in 13 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Basketbal Svitavy players scored in double figures. American swingman Lamb Autrey (193-89, college: St.Mary's, TX, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and point guard Ondrej Siska (190-93) scored 9 points and 7 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BK Decin will play next round against strong BK Olomoucko trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Basketbal Svitavy will try to continue on its current victory against USK Praha on the road.
