Regular Season Round 4: Challans - Le Havre 95-74

Very important is a road loss of second ranked STB Le Havre (2-2) against fourth ranked Vendee Challans (3-1) on Friday night. Visiting STB Le Havre was crushed by Vendee Challans in Challans 95-74. It was a key game for the top position in Group B. Vendee Challans made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Four STB Le Havre players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Vendee Challans keeps a position of Group B leader, which they share with 3 other teams. STB Le Havre at the other side dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. Vendee Challans' next round opponent will be CFBB (#14) in Paris which should be another easy win for them. STB Le Havre will play on the road against Brissac Anjou (#8) in Brissac-Quince and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the ProB just one year after relegation.
