Another exciting game was between MBK Ruzomberok and Samorin where MBK Ruzomberok (4-0) crushed Samorin (3-1) on the road with 23-point difference 84-61. MBK Ruzomberok outrebounded Samorin 41-22 including a 29-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American guard Aaryn Ellenberg (170-92, college: Oklahoma) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian power forward Egle Siksniute (198-91) contributed with 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. Coach Juraj Suja's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international guard Timea Sujova (173-84) answered with 24 points and 6 rebounds and forward Martina Letkova (189-92) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Samorin. MBK Ruzomberok will play against Piestanske C. (#4) in Piestany in the next round. Samorin will play at home against BAM Poprad and hopes to get back on the winning track.
