Regular Season Round 4: Basket Kosire - Loko Plzen 76-80

We should not miss a road victory of fourth ranked BK Loko Plzen (3-1) over one of their biggest challengers Basket Kosire (2-2) 80-76. It was a key game for the second position in West. Strangely Basket Kosire outrebounded BK Loko Plzen 41-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. 25 personal fouls committed by Basket Kosire helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Forward Martin David (195-97) fired 36 points (!!!) and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Jan Zeman (197-95) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Jan Kratochvil (200-82) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds and swingman Jan Nekolny (192-91) added 18 points respectively for lost side. Four Basket Kosire players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BK Loko Plzen moved-up to second place in West, which they share with USK Praha B. Basket Kosire at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. BK Loko Plzen's next round opponent will be league's leader BK Lions Hradec in J.Hradec and it will be for sure the game of the week. Basket Kosire will play on the road against the league's second-placed USK Praha B (#2) and hope to win that game.
