Regular Season Round 4: Olomouc SK - Novy Jicin 61-76

Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Olomouc SK (0-4) lost at home to sixth ranked Novy Jicin (2-1) 76-61 on Friday. It was a very good performance for center Tadeas Janik (201-94) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Jan Kelar (193-97) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Guard Jan Hlobil (190) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and forward Stepan Svoboda (197-0) added 15 points in the effort for Olomouc SK. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Novy Jicin moved-up to fourth place in East, which they share with Pardubice. Loser Olomouc SK still closes the standings with four games lost. Novy Jicin will face B&W Opava B (#6) at home in the next round. Olomouc SK will play against Vysocina in Jihlava and hopes to get finally their first victory.
