Not a big story in a game when bottom-ranked Sokol Prazky (0-4) lost on the road to fourth ranked USK Praha B (3-1) 75-61 on Friday. USK Praha B outrebounded Sokol Prazky 42-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Sokol Prazky was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Quite impressive performance for Slovakian Marcel Batovsky (189-0) who helped to win the game recording 8 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Marek Vyroubal (190-1) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Jan Sop (185-96) replied with 9 points and 6 rebounds and Michael Hartig (191-98) added 13 points in the effort for Sokol Prazky. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. USK Praha B have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in West, which they share with Loko Plzen. Loser Sokol Prazky still closes the standings with four games lost. USK Praha B will face Basket Kosire (#7) in Kosice in the next round where they are favorite. Sokol Prazky will play on the road against Sokol Vysehrad and hopes to get finally their first victory.
