Regular Season Round 3: Slask Wroclaw - Polonia Leszno 86-82

The biggest surprise of round 3 in 1Liga took place in Wroclaw where host Slask (3-0) beat Polonia Leszno (2-1) 86-82 on Saturday evening. 34 personal fouls committed by Polonia Leszno helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-97, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 19 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Power forward Bartlomiej Pietras (211-98) chipped in 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Mateusz Stawiak (203-96) who recorded 23 points and 9 rebounds and the former international Kamil Chanas (190-85) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Polonia Leszno will play next round against strong Pogon Prudnik trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Slask will try to continue on its current victory against GKS Tychy at home.
