Regular Season Round 2: MuKi - PuHu Juniorit 111-65

Not a big story in a game in Helsinki where PuHu Juniorit (0-2) was outplayed by MuKi (2-0) 111-65 on Sunday. The game without a history. MuKi led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 PuHu Juniorit turnovers. MuKi looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Joonas Timonen (189-0) who scored 20 points and 5 assists. Point guard Tuomo Antikainen (188-99) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Five MuKi players scored in double figures. Center Jonatan Lygdman (203-95) produced 12 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Valtteri Leino (183-95) added 18 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. MuKi will have a break next round. PuHu Juniorit will play at home against HyPo (#1) and hope to win that game.
