Important game to mention about took place in Ivano-Frankivsk. Top-ranked Rivne-OSHVSM (4-0) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 4th ranked Hoverla (2-2) 86-85 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Hoverla won third quarter 24-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Rivne-OSHVSM made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for point guard Illya Shemosiuk (188-85) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Nazar Kisilchuk (194-97) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Center Volodymyr Orlenko (212-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-89) added 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Hoverla. Hoverla's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Rivne-OSHVSM have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Politekhn.Lvov. Loser Hoverla keeps the fourth place with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
