Regular Season Round 3: Samaheej - Manama 47-105

Samaheej (0-3) was outscored at home by Al-Manama (3-0) with the biggest margin this round 105-47 on Monday night. Al-Manama dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Samaheej's 28. They outrebounded Samaheej 50-29 including a 34-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al-Manama looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Samaheej's players. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Ahmed Najaf (196-91) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds (on 12-of-14 shooting from the field). Al-Manama will meet Al-Nweidrat (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Samaheej will play against Isa Town (#10) in Issa Town and hopes to get finally their first victory.
