Regular Season Round 5: Sokol Vyseh. - Sokol Prazky 68-92

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Sokol Vysehrad (1-4) was outplayed at home by tenth ranked Sokol Prazky (1-4) 92-68 on Friday. Sokol Prazky outrebounded Sokol Vysehrad 37-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. Sokol Vysehrad was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Ondrej Aulich (192-95) stepped up and scored 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and Michael Hartig (191-98) chipped in 14 points. Center Tomas Belohradsky (204-97) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and guard Luka Jovanovic (179) scored 11 points. Four Sokol Vysehrad players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Sokol Prazky left bottom position moving up to eighth place in West, which they share with GBA Sparta and Sokol Vyseh. Sokol Prazky will face higher ranked Basket Kosire (#6) in Kosice in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
