No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Giessen Pointers (3-2) defeated at home bottom-ranked Kronberg (0-5) 81-76 on Saturday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Giessen Pointers forced 28 Kronberg turnovers. The best player for the winners was American swingman Christopher Miller (192-93, college: Salem Intern.) who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Dominik Turudic (202-94) chipped in 9 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Giessen Pointers' coach Daniel Doerr used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Justus Peuser who recorded 19 points and 5 rebounds and Daniel Medo (197-95) added 14 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Kronberg players scored in double figures. Giessen Pointers moved-up to fourth place in South-West, which they share with 4 other teams.
