Regular Season Round 5: BK Kolin - Kralovsti sokoli 104-78

Bottom-ranked Kralovsti sokoli (0-5) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their fifth consecutive match to tenth ranked BK Kolin (2-3) 104-78. BK Kolin dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Kralovsti sokoli's 48 and made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Kralovsti sokoli 41-29 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kralovsti sokoli was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Slovakian power forward Peter Sedmak (207-85) came up with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Bosnian point guard Marko Rikalo (187-94) added 12 points and 4 assists respectively for Kralovsti sokoli in the defeat. Five BK Kolin and four Kralovsti sokoli players scored in double figures. BK Kolin moved-up to seventh place, which they share with USK Praha and BK Olomoucko. Kralovsti sokoli lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with five games lost. BK Kolin will play against higher ranked Basketbal Svitavy (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kralovsti sokoli will play against the league's leader CEZ Nymburk (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
