Regular Season Round 7: Kremen - Prometey 55-116

No shocking result in a game in Kremenchuk where second ranked Prometey (5-1) smashed 8th ranked Kremen (1-5) 116-55 on Sunday. The game without a history. Prometey led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Kremen's 26. They outrebounded Kremen 56-22 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Prometey shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Kremen's players. Forward Igor Krivtsov (201-86) fired 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Yaroslav Kadygrob (195-91) chipped in 17 points and 9 rebounds. Five Prometey players scored in double figures. Azerbaijani Amil Hamzayev (204-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) produced 23 points and 8 rebounds and guard Mykyta Hancha (185-96) added 11 points respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Prometey keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Ternopil-TNEU and KDPU. Kremen lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with five games lost. Prometey will face SumDU (#7) in Sumy in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Kremen will play on the road against Niko-Basket in Mykolaiv and hope to win that game.
