The winners were led by American forward Ryan Rossiter (204-89, college: Siena) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 8 rebounds and 11 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and the former international power forward Kosuke Takeuchi (206-85) supported him with 14 points. Bahamas power forward Kadeem Coleby (206-89, college: Wichita St.) added 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 blocks for the hosts. Akita Happinets' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. They share the position with SeaHorses and Hokkaido L.. Tochigi Brex will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Akita Happinets will play on the road against the league's second-placed Toyama Grouses (#2) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
