Regular Season Round 4: Andorra - Ratiopharm 103-95

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Spanish Andorra and one of their biggest challengers German ratiopharm Ulm had identical 1-2 record. This time Andorra used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Ulm 103-95 on Wednesday night. The hosts trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 103-95. Andorra looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by ratiopharm Ulm's players. ratiopharm Ulm was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. French point guard Andrew Albicy (177-90) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists for the winners. Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points and 4 steals. Guard Ismet Akpinar (193-95, agency: BeoBasket) produced 27 points (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and American guard Patrick Miller (184-92, college: Tennessee St.) added 12 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra (2-2) moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Galatasaray. Loser ratiopharm Ulm dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Andorra will face league's second-placed Monaco on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ratiopharm Ulm will play against Germani BR and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
