Regular Season Round 4: Kristika Turku - FoKoPo 96-55

1st Division top team - Kristika Turku (3-1) had no problems winning another game on Wednesday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Forssan Koripojat (1-3) in Turun 96-55. The game without a history. Kristika Turku led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Kristika Turku outrebounded Forssan Koripojat 53-31 including a 41-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 17 long-distance shots on high 60.7 percentage. Kristika Turku looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Forssan Koripojat's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of Joona Tuomala (197-97) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Tomi Lommi (194-96) who added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Kristika Turku players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Isaac Williams (195-94, college: Miss.Valley St.) responded with 20 points and 9 rebounds and forward Aku Haikonen (201-96) scored 11 points. Forssan Koripojat's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kristika Turku have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Kristika Turku went down to third position due to points difference. Forssan Koripojat lost third consecutive game. Loser Forssan Koripojat dropped to the ninth place with three games lost. Kristika Turku will face HNMKY (#6) in Helsinki in the next round. Forssan Koripojat will play on the road against the league's second-placed LoKoKo Bisons in Loimaa and hope to win that game.
