Regular Season Round 4: Pelister Bitola - Kozuv 79-82

Bottom-ranked Pelister Bitola is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fourth consecutive match to seventh ranked Kozuv (2-2) 82-79 on Saturday evening. The winners were led by center Aleksandar Shterjov (208-86, agency: Global Sports Plaza) who scored that evening 19 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian swingman Miladin Pekovic (197-83, agency: BeoExcell) supported him with 19 points. Kozuv's coach Vrbica Stefanov used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 27 points by American guard Ty Harris (188-91, college: Columbus St.) did not help to save the game for Pelister Bitola. His fellow American import swingman Gabe Bealer (198-95, college: Utah) added 19 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. Kozuv moved-up to sixth place. Loser Pelister Bitola still closes the standings with four games lost. Kozuv will meet at home higher ranked Kumanovo (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pelister Bitola will play against Shkupi (#9) in Skopje and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
