Regular Season Round 6: Sant Adria - Castelldefels 79-56

Very expected game when 9th ranked Castelldefels (2-4) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked Sant Adria (4-2) 79-56 on Saturday. Sant Adria dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Castelldefels' 34. They outrebounded Castelldefels 40-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for center Antonio Ruiz (202-87) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Center Oscar Amo (205-97) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Four Sant Adria players scored in double figures. Forward Eric Manes (194-87) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and forward Albert Olmedo (198-92) added 10 points (perfect from the field making all six shots) in the effort for Castelldefels. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sant Adria moved-up to third place in Group C-B, which they share with Arenys and JAC Sants. Loser Castelldefels dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost.
