Regular Season Round 6: BK Olomoucko - BK Opava 91-90

The most exciting game of round 6 in the NBL took place in Prostejov. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of higher ranked BK Opava (4-2) to seventh ranked BK Olomoucko (3-3) 91-90 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BK Opava. BK Olomoucko looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Javonte Douglas (203-92, college: Montevallo) who scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. The other American import guard TJ Dunans (196-92, college: Auburn) chipped in 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Five BK Olomoucko players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was center Vaclav Bujnoch (200-93, college: Des Moines Area CC) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Radovan Kouril (185-95) added 17 points and 8 assists respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BK Olomoucko moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Brno. BK Opava at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with BK Decin. BK Olomoucko is looking forward to face BK Kolin (#10) on the road in the next round. BK Opava will play against Brno (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
