Very predictable result when leader Saint-Quentin (7-0) defeated at home 11th ranked Feurs EF (2-5) 76-66 on Saturday. It was a great evening for American-Jamaican center Ryan Rhoomes (203-92, college: Fordham, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds. Benoit Gillet (190-86) helped adding 19 points and 5 assists. At the losing side forward Momar Ndoye (200-95) responded with 11 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized Mali Mahamadou Drame (188-86) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Saint-Quentin. They maintain first place in Group A with 7-0 record, which they share with Souffel. Feurs EF lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Saint-Quentin will face Charleville-Mezieres (#9) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Feurs EF will play against Aubenas and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
