Regular Season Round 4: Eisenstadt - KOS 86-107
Date: October 28, 2018
KOS can celebrate their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Eisenstadt, where they outplayed Nord Dragonz (0-4) 107-86 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by KOS. Nord Dragonz managed to win fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KOS shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovenian forward Erik Kralj (190-97) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 43 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and Slovenian point guard Jan Razdevsek (185-0) who added 25 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Hungarian center Attila Hegedus (200-86) responded with 19 points and 8 rebounds and Lukas Baumgartner (197-97) scored 10 points. Nord Dragonz's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. KOS (1-3) left bottom position moving up to ninth place, which they share with Flames. It was Nord Dragonz's fourth loss in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Deutsch-Wagram. KOS will meet at home Flames (#9) in the next round. Nord Dragonz will play against BBU and hopes to get finally their first victory.
