Quite upsetting was Dandenong Rangers' 25-point home defeat in a game versus Perth Lynx who smashed hosts They outrebounded Dandenong Rangers 47-34 including 22 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was American forward Asia Taylor (188-91, college: Louisville, agency: LBM Management) who scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Her fellow American import guard Brittany McPhee (183-96, college: Stanford) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Betnijah Laney (183-93, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) who recorded 16 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Rebecca Cole (178-92) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Perth Lynx will meet Townsville Fire (#4) on the road in the next round. Dandenong Rangers will play against Boomers and hope to secure a win.
