Very significant was Sports Lottery's (#4) just 3-point road victory against 6th ranked Hebei. They also forced 21 Hebei turnovers. Strangely Hebei outrebounded Sports Lottery 42-22 including a 15-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Ying-Zhu Wang (182-96) nailed 11 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals for the winning side and international guard Siyu Wang (175-95) accounted for 13 points, 9 assists and 4 steals. Sports Lottery's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Taiwanese Ping-Jen Huang (178-89) came up with 16 points and 6 rebounds and the former international guard Siyue Qiu (177-91) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Hebei in the defeat. Five Sports Lottery and four Hebei players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sports Lottery. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Hebei dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with Sichuan and Xinjiang. Sports Lottery will play against Magic Deer (#8) in Urumqi in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hebei will play at home against Henan Phoenix and hopes to get back on the winning track.
