No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked BK Olomoucko (4-3) beat on the road 10th ranked BK Kolin (2-5) 96-90 on Wednesday. BK Olomoucko looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard TJ Dunans (196-92, college: Auburn) who led the winners and scored 24 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Slovenian guard Jure Pelko (190-90, agency: PEPI SPORT) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists for the winning side. BK Olomoucko's coach Predrag Benacek used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Alex Thompson (203-95, college: Samford) came up with 23 points and 7 rebounds and international swingman Petr Safarcik (193-94) added 15 points and 6 assists respectively for BK Kolin in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. BK Olomoucko moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Svitavy. Loser BK Kolin dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with USK Praha and Usti n/Labem. BK Olomoucko will meet at home league's leader CEZ Nymburk in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BK Kolin will play against Brno (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
