Important game to mention about took place in Yaroslav. Twelfth ranked Burevestnik (2-4) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 11th ranked Universitet-Yugra (2-4) 83-82 in the fight for the ninth place. Burevestnik made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. It was a very good performance for forward Vladimir Belov (207-84) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Anton Ageev (191-84) contributed with 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Burevestnik players scored in double figures. Lithuanian point guard Linas Lekavicius (186-84, college: American) answered with 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Serbian Nikola Lepojevic (195-82, agency: Alti Sport) added 27 points and 6 steals in the effort for Universitet-Yugra. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Burevestnik moved-up to ninth place, which they share with 6 other teams including defeated Universitet-Yugra. Burevestnik will face higher ranked Uralmash (#8) in Ekaterinburg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
