Regular Season Round 12: Cyberdyne IR - Yamagata 93-75

Rather expected game in Tsukuba where 4th ranked Yamagata (5-7) was defeated by second ranked Cyberdyne IR (8-4) 93-75 on Saturday. Cyberdyne IR looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Scootie Randall (198-90, college: Temple) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) who added 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Five Cyberdyne IR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American-Irish swingman Will Hanley (201-90, college: Bowdoin, agency: Duran International) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Mitsutaka Izawa (194-93) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cyberdyne IR maintains second position with 8-4 record having just three points less than leader Shinshu BW, which they share with Tokyo Z. Loser Yamagata keeps the fourth place with seven games lost. Cyberdyne IR will face again Yamagata (#4) at home in the next round.
