Regular Season Round 8: BK Pardubice - USK Praha 63-68

The most important game in the last round took place in Pardubice between second ranked BK Pardubice (5-2) and eleventh ranked USK Praha (3-5) on Saturday night. BK Pardubice was defeated by USK Praha in a tough game at home 63-68. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Ondrej Sehnal (196-97) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 assists and international forward Michal Mares (193-92) who added 20 points during the contest. International power forward Kamil Svrdlik (205-86, college: Fair Dickinson, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American guard Donovan Jackson (188-96, college: Iowa St.) scored 19 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. USK Praha moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Usti n/Labem and BK Kolin. BK Pardubice at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. USK Praha is looking forward to face higher ranked BK Opava (#4) on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. BK Pardubice will play against NH Ostrava and is hoping to win this game.
