Regular Season Round 6: EBAA - Svendborg 71-93

An interesting game for Svendborg (6-0) which played road game in Aarhus against second-best EBAA (1-6). Top-ranked Svendborg had an easy win 93-71. The game without a history. Svendborg led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. American forward Zach Charles (201-95, college: E.Kentucky) had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Jeremiah Ingram (201-93, college: N.C.Central) chipped in 20 points during the contest. Four Svendborg players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was international forward David Kristensen (210-98) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Tobias Reinholt (208-95, agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 10 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Svendborg have an impressive six-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Bakken. EBAA lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the second place with six games lost. They share the position with Vaerlose. Svendborg will play against league's leader Bakken in Risskov in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. EBAA will play on the road against Stevnsgade and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
