No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked San Miniato (4-2) won against on the road 14th ranked Cecina (2-4) 89-80 on Sunday. Cecina was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Jacopo Preti (200-94) scored 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ferdinando Nasello (194-95) chipped in 18 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Marco Mennella (191-99) with 19 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Andrea Spera (203-96, agency: Players Group) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Five San Miniato and four Cecina players scored in double figures. San Miniato moved-up to fourth place in B, which they share with Ozzano. Cecina will play on the road against the league's second-placed Fiorentina in Firenze and hope to win that game.
