Regular Season Round 8: Avtodor-2 - Parma-2 81-74

Everything went according to plan in Saratov where fourth ranked Avtodor-2 (6-4) beat 8th ranked Parma-2 (3-7) 81-74. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Parma-2 won third quarter 27-25. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Point guard Igor Bestuzhev (180-99) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!). Guard Vadim Kharisov (190-0) contributed with 12 points and 5 steals for the winners. Forward Sergey Tkachenko (201-99) replied with 21 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Egor Chernyshev (196-99) added 6 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Parma-2. Parma-2's coach Daniel Nelson rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Avtodor-2 went down to fifth position due to points difference. Parma-2 lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
