Even 19 points and 4 steals (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) by guard Vladimir Pichkurov (193-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) did not help to save the game for Samara. They maintain first position with 6-1 record, which they share with TEMP-SUMZ-UMMC. Samara at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Spartak-Prim. and Vostok-65. Spartak St.Petersburg will play against CSKA 2 (#12) in Moscow in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Samara will play on the road against Zenit-Farm (#16) in Sankt Petersburg and hopes to get back on the winning track.
