The game in Umea supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked KFUM Jamtland (9-3) played at the court of 8th ranked Umea (3-9). KFUM Jamtland smashed Umea 112-81. The game without a history. KFUM Jamtland led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 60.8 percent from the field. KFUM Jamtland players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. DR Congolese power forward Evariste Shonganya (204-92) notched 17 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) to lead the effort and American guard Teyvon Myers (188-94, college: W.Virginia) supported him with 20 points. Even a double-double of 13 points and 10 assists by naturalized American point guard Omar Krayem (186-88, college: Cal.Baptist, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Umea. Center Andre Nilsson (209-90) added 17 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Five KFUM Jamtland and four Umea players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KFUM Jamtland have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-3 record having just two point less than leader Sodertalje. Umea lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with nine games lost. KFUM Jamtland's next round opponent will be league's leader Sodertalje Kings on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Umea will play against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins (#2) and hope to win that game.
