Regular Season Round 9: Kronberg - Fellbach 67-62

There was a surprise result when fourteenth ranked Kronberg (2-6) won against at home higher ranked Fellbach (3-5) 67-62 on Saturday. Strangely Fellbach outrebounded Kronberg 45-33 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Noah Litzbach (196-0) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Justus Peuser chipped in 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Marco Schlafke (187-82) who recorded 17 points and 5 rebounds and Eldin Azemovic added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Fellbach's coach Christopher Ferguson tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kronberg moved-up to twelfth place in South-West, which they share with Mannheim and HAKRO Merlins II. Loser Fellbach dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Kronberg will face higher ranked TV Langen (#8) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
