Regular Season Round 7: MBK Ruzomb. - UKF Nitra 104-32

Undefeated leader MBK Ruzomberok delivered the eighth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked UKF Nitra (3-4) 104-32. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of UKF Nitra. MBK Ruzomberok held UKF Nitra to an opponent 25.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 57.3 percent accuracy of the winners. MBK Ruzomberok forced 19 UKF Nitra turnovers and outrebounded them 47-12 including a 15-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. MBK Ruzomberok players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 3 passes made by UKF Nitra's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Chucky Jeffery (178-91, college: Colorado) who helped to win the game recording 24 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Lithuanian power forward Egle Siksniute (198-91) contributed with 25 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) for the winners. Five MBK Ruzomberok players scored in double figures. Viktoria Feherova (175-99) answered with 15 points and point guard Adela Kudlickova (166-94) added 2 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for UKF Nitra. MBK Ruzomberok (8-0) have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. UKF Nitra at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. MBK Ruzomberok will play against Slovan (#7) in Bratislava in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. UKF Nitra will play on the road against Samorin and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
