An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ostersund. Third ranked KFUM Jamtland faced one of their biggest challengers Boras Basket. Host KFUM Jamtland (9-3) defeated guests from Boras (8-4) 120-113. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Boras Basket. The hosts trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 120-113. KFUM Jamtland shot 60.3 percent from the field. It was a great shooting night for KFUM Jamtland especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when KFUM Jamtland made 8 blocks. DR Congolese power forward Evariste Shonganya (204-92) chipped in 22 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Marcus Tyus (185-94, college: Omaha) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists and his fellow American import point guard Nimrod Hilliard-IV (183-93, college: N.C.Central) added 24 points and 7 assists respectively for lost side. Five KFUM Jamtland and four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 9-3 record having just two point less than leader Sodertalje. Boras Basket at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. They share the position with BC Lulea. KFUM Jamtland are looking forward to face league's leader Sodertalje Kings on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Boras Basket will play against Wetterbygden and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
