Regular Season Round 8: Sokol Slapanice - BCM Orli 88-81

The most surprising game was the first loss of BK Prostejov B (7-1) in Slapnice on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by ninth ranked Sokol Slapanice (2-6) 88-81. It ended at the same time the seven-game winning streak of BK Prostejov B. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jan Rotrekl (196-85) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Martin Vyroubal (199-96) who added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Five Sokol Slapanice players scored in double figures. Point guard Martin Nabelek (178-98) responded with 36 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists and center Viktor Vasat (207-97) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 16 rebounds. Sokol Slapanice maintains ninth position in East with 2-6 record. BK Prostejov B at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost. Sokol Slapanice are looking forward to face higher ranked Pardubice (#6) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. BK Prostejov B will play against Olomouc SK (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
