Regular Season Round 7: Chieti - Campli 86-65

Very expected game when bottom-ranked Campli (0-7) was rolled over on the road by tenth ranked Chieti (4-3) 86-65 on Sunday. Chieti shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 53.8 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Fabrizio Gialloreto (187-86) fired 22 points for the winners (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Davide Meluzzi (180-98, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Four Chieti players scored in double figures. Montenegrin power forward Jakov Milosevic (201-99) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and Davide Vona (194-98) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Chieti moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Campli still closes the standings with seven games lost. Chieti will face Senigallia (#7) at home in the next round. Campli will play against Lamezia (#15) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
