Rather predictable result in Jihlava where fifth ranked Vysocina (5-3) defeated 7th ranked Ostrava (3-5) 82-73 on Sunday. Vysocina dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ostrava's 34. They outrebounded Ostrava 40-23 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Vysocina looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jiri Bubak (194-84) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Ondrej Kocvara (180-2) who added 17 points and 7 assists during the contest. Four Vysocina players scored in double figures. Guard David Jakel (180) responded with 20 points and forward Ondrej Siko (199-81) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Vysocina moved-up to fourth place in East, which they share with Zlin. Loser Ostrava keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Vysocina will face league's second-placed Olomouc Bbal on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
