An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ostrava. Leader USK faced 3rd placed Snakes. Guests from Praha (8-0) smashed host Snakes (6-2) 77-57. They outrebounded Snakes 46-22 including a 34-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Patrick Samoura (195-0) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Guard Marek Vyroubal (191-1) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners. Forward Matej Snopek (195-0) answered with 15 points and 7 rebounds and guard Jaroslav Bednar (186-0) added 13 points in the effort for Snakes. Snakes' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for USK. They maintain first place with 8-0 record. Snakes at the other side keep the third position with two games lost. They share it with BA Nymburk. USK will play against Slavoj (#11) in Litomerice in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Snakes will play on the road against the league's second-placed GBA Europe (#2) in Praha and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
