Regular Season Round 6: MZT Skopje - Rabotnicki 88-90

Important game to mention about took place in Skopje. Top-ranked Rabotnicki (5-0) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 3rd ranked MZT Skopje (4-2) 90-88 on Monday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of MZT Skopje. Rabotnicki shot the lights out from three nailing 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. It was a good game for international forward Marjan Janevski (203-88) who led his team to a victory with 30 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!). Bulgarian Chavdar Kostov (195-88, agency: Interperformances) contributed with 20 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Serbian Andrija Bojic (207-93, agency: BeoBasket) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds and American guard James Woodard (191-94, college: Tulsa) added 12 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for MZT Skopje. Four Rabotnicki and five MZT Skopje players scored in double figures. Rabotnicki have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. MZT Skopje at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Feni Industries and Kumanovo. Rabotnicki will play against Feni Industries (#3) in Kavadarci in the next round, which may be the game of the day. MZT Skopje will play on the road against Kozuv in Gevgelija and hopes to get back on the winning track.
