Regular Season Round 9: CSKA Junior - Enisey-2 115-61

Undefeated leader CSKA Junior recorded the tenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed bottom-ranked Enisey-2 (0-10) 115-61 in Moscow. The game without a history. CSKA Junior led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Enisey-2's 42. They outrebounded Enisey-2 41-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. CSKA Junior shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Enisey-2's players. It was a good game for guard Makhar Konovalov (188-0, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) who led his team to a victory with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Maksym Korvanen (203-99) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five CSKA Junior players scored in double figures. Guard Danil Dergachev (185-98) answered with 15 points and forward Danil Pazdnikov (198-98) added 12 points in the effort for Enisey-2. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the tenth consecutive win for CSKA Junior. They maintain first place with 10-0 record. Enisey-2 lost their tenth game in a row. They still close the standings with ten games lost. CSKA Junior will play against Lokomotiv-2 (#4) in Krasnodar in the next round. Enisey-2 will have a break next round.
