Not a big story in a game in Sankt Petersburg where 5th ranked Serbian Partizan (2-5) was defeated by third ranked Russian Zenit (4-3) 75-71 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 35-27 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Zenit made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Partizan was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Sergey Karasev (201-93, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners.
